Carly Taylor

Who is Carly? 

I am 53 years old, a mother of two beautiful children (biased, of course), wife to Paul and owner of 2 dogs. I have my own business as a Mental Fitness Coach, I'm creating an online course (with Paul) to train certified Mental Fitness Coaches and currently studying my Masters in Counselling. I am interested in keeping fit and healthy.

What are your passions in life? 

I am passionate about being a mother to my kids. My work is also my passion as is continually learning new knowledge and skills.

What is the lesson in life you live by?

Always strive to make choices guided by my values.

How do you practise self-care / self-love?

By normalising my emotional responses to situations and accepting that I'm human and far from perfect. I also focus on the fundamentals, ensuring I get daily exercise, sleep, eat well and connect with others.

Why do you think self-care is so important?

Self-care is important for both physical and mental health and also to have a healthy relationship with ourselves and the people around us.

How do you ensure you prioritise the time to focus on your wellness journey?

I have daily non-negotiables - morning ritual of journaling, exercise and coffee. Night ritual of digital detox, connection with family and sleep

Who inspires you the most and why?

Helen Mirren has a naturally majestic manner and seems so authentic. She embraces her age and doesn't allow it to hold her back.

What is your favourite FRII[S]MITH product and why?

I love my i am [power] active cleanser as well as the i am [radiant] active moisturiser, but I especially love my FRII[S]MITH water bottle!

What does radiance mean to you?

Radiance to me is about glowing in good health and having good character.
