Who is Tee?
I am an Aussie/Fijian, frizzy haired, deep thinking, soulful, fun loving Woman with a passion for life! I have been alive for almost 37 years, I’ve been working as a Chiropractor for the last 8 years, a Yoga teacher for 5 years, a studio owner for 2 years and an energy healer for 4 years. I love people and hearing about their stories. I love being a part of peoples journeys and it lights me up when I witness others connect to themselves and grow. I have a beautiful partner Lu and she is my biggest cheerleader.
What is the number one lesson you've learned that you would share with your 12 year old self if you could?
“You are NOT broken! Every decision/choice can be replaced with another one.”
What does wellbeing mean to you personally and how do you practice self-care/self-love?
Wellbeing to me is about “Ahimsa”, non-harm. To me that encompasses a sense of kindness and compassion for myself and others. Whether I’m on a bandwagon or I’ve fallen off, how can I remain kind and compassionate to myself through it all and to others in the process. I practice self care and self love through my Yoga practice, meditation is my non negotiable in the mornings, through gratitude and journalling, moving my body and trying to support others where I can.
How do you ensure you prioritise the time to focus on your wellness journey?
A big part of this is my perspective. Seeing life as a wellness journey and a playground to practice on. In that way it’s more a choice of living this way than something “extra” I have to do. Some tangible tools that are helpful are planning white spaces in the calendar, time in the mornings for myself to get grounded and centred to prepare for the day, keeping in contact with friends and trying to be present with whatever I’m doing (easier said than done that is why it’s a practice).
Who inspires you the most and why?
That’s a hard one. My all time number 1 is Mother Teresa. As a child I was drawn to her because of her open heart and kindness but in all honesty most people inspire me in some way. Everyone has something that in inspiring.
What does radiance mean to you?
Radiance to me is that feeling of sunshine and light…That bright sun kissed feeling.
What is your favourite FRII[S]MITH product and why do you love it?
Hands down it’s the I am radiant active moisturiser! I love it because it doesn’t feel like I’ve got a heavy layer of crap on top of my face. It’s smooth and silky, applies nicely on my skin and most importantly it makes me feel EMPOWERED, ready to go conquer my day!
